Can children swim alone in the water?
Children under the age of 10 must be supervised by an adult over 16. Children under the age of 5 must be supervised at arm’s reach at all times by an adult over 16.
Can I bring in my own food?
You may bring your own food in to Palm Springs where you can enjoy your meal in our dedicated eating area. However, no cooking is allowed. We have a BBQ for hire if you wish to cook on-site. We also have a cafe serving authentic Korean dishes and from our takeaway menu. We do not allow food to be consumed in and around the pools.
What temperature are the pools?
We have three pools which ranges from 34°C to 42°C. Temperature might change depending on season.
Lower Pool : 34°C - 36°C
Upper Pool : 38°C - 40°C
Rock (Spa) Pool : 40°C - 42°C
Can I wear T-shirts and shorts in the pools?
Yes you can wear T-shirts and shorts in the pools. Please make sure that they are in a reasonable, clean state when worn. Please have in mind that Palm Springs is not responsible for any damage done to clothing.
Does Palm Springs use Chlorine in the pools?
Yes, as part of our filtering and treatment process, chlorine is added to maintain a clean and safe pool for everyone.

Is Palm Springs smoke/vape free?
Yes Palm Springs is a smoke-free facility. There are areas for smoking outside our facility.
Can we bring alcohol?
No, our facility is alcohol free due to health and safety reasons.
Are the pools Naturally Heated?
Yes, All our pools are naturally heated geothermal water, drawn from deep beneath the ground.
How do we make a group booking?
Please contact palmspringsauckland@gmail.com or 09 420 8321 to make a group booking. We do not allow hiring out the whole facility for private events.
Can I buy swimsuits or towels?
We do not have swimsuits available for purchase or hire on site. Towels are available for purchase if needed.
Do you have private pools?
No, We do not have private pools available at our facility.
Can I wear jewelry in the pools?
Geothermal water will tarnish silver jewellery and some gold. We advise you to remove all jewellery before entering the pools.
Is there an age limit to use the pools?
There are no age limit to use the pools. However our rock pool is for adults (16+) only.
Are there secure lockers at Palm Springs
We have secure lockers available for hire at Palm Springs with a cost of $1 per locker. Please enquire our staff about locker hire when entering the pool.
Are there BBQs available for us to use in the complex?
We have a gas BBQ available for hire for 2 hours per session at a cost of $40. Please contact us to book a session if you wish to use the BBQ.
Can I safely put my head underwater in the hot pools?
Yes, our pool is treated with chlorine and our filtering system provides excellent water quality. However, we do not recommend you putting head underwater for temperatures over 38°C for your health and safety.
How much is the entry fee for babies?
Children under the age of 4 can enter for free. However, swimming diapers must be worn if the child is not potty trained. We also sell swimming diapers on-site if needed.
How much is the entry fee for disabled?
Entry fee for disabled is the same for our senior entre fee ($16). If supervising is required, 1 caretaker will be charged a discount price as well of $16.
How deep are the pools?
Our deepest pool can go as deep as 1.7m.
I'm pregnant. Is it safe to use the pools?
Care needs to be taken not to become overheated and keep regularly hydrated. It is recommended to check with your doctor before entering the hot pools.
